Toddler Birthday Bash

Toddler Birthday Bash is the magical celebration from baby to toddler. It is primarily for family and friends. Your child will not remember his/her 1st birthday but as he/ she will grow up, it will make them happier while going through the photographs. So plan your toddler's first birthday bash with a pleasant theme and do not extend them to more than an hour. The 1st birthday is the most prized day in a child's life, something that is cherished by all along with the birthday toddler. Therefore, it should be cheery, amusing, bubbly and endearing. Starting off with the birthday theme, some of the most apt ones are our topical comic characters such as Donald duck, Barney, Barbie dolls, Trains and Winnie the Pooh. You can also enliven the party with themes like, 1st birthday boy, 1st birthday girl, Baby Einstein, barnyard 1st birthday, musical 1st birthday and one is fun. Keep food simple for the little ones because most of it ends up loitering on the floor. Finger food would be excellent for both toddlers and adults. The guests can have their favorite drinks and also feed their young ones with milk and diluted fruit juices. Peanuts and other rock solid food should be avoided as it may cause a choking hazard to the little ones. The bash usually consists of toddlers with and without teeth. So, cater for both extremes: organic bread sticks, tiny sandwiches with cheese spread, cubes of mild cheese and mini fromage frais cartons. Chocolate fingers are tasty but messy. Biscuits will suffice. Aim for a wonderful cake- a home made one is special. Your mini guests will probably eat any food so aim for a variety of taste, texture and color. Home is the apt venue for this cute party. Children feel free and comfortable at home than in any other place. Adorn your home with colorful papers, favorite photos of the birthday child, stuffed animals, happy Toddler Birthday banners or posters and helium balloons and streamers to match the party theme. Toddlers love to make music and you can plan a bash around that activity that'll be a blast. To make sure everyone has fun, have duplicates of some favorite instruments such as drums, tambourines and maracas. You can also add more fun and frolic to the party with a toddler's birthday party music cd, comprising of some wonderful songs like "candy man", "lollipop", "the name game", "yakety yak", "chitty chitty bang bang", "disco duck" and "Happy Birthday to You" .One year old toddlers have hardly anything to enjoy on their part. Therefore, their 1st Birthday is usually enjoyed by the grown-ups. Some games which are played more often than not in such parties includes Baby Bottle Bowling, Baby Monitor Madness, Take a Guess, Baby Gym Relay and some more. Baby Bottle Bowling is also known as a Good Baby Shower Game- arrange ten baby bottles filled with rice or water and place then on the floor like bowling pins. Mark a reasonable distance from the pins and then the players will take turns trying to get a strike using a ball.
Baby Monitor Madness is similar to treasure hunt. Two teams, among which one is the transmitter team and the other is the receiver team will be playing off. The transmitter team will read out the inklings about the different objects secreted in certain areas and the receiver team will have to find it out within time, at the success of which they'll be rewarded with candies and lollipops. Take a Guess in also a very endearing game for kids. You will have to fill up a jar with cheerios cereal and count them while filling. The participants have to make a guess as to how many cereals are there and the one with the closest guess will be rewarded. Baby Gym Relay includes much moving for the adults. Divide the guests into two teams and put two baskets at the two corners of the room. One basket is filled with toys whereas the other one is vacant. Players take turns picking up a toy, crawling to the basket and put the toys into it. The team to finish it off first will be the champ. If you really want your toddlers to have a great birthday bash, then go in for a party where not much money is requisite but that will create a memory for lifetime. Load the bash with tons of fun and activities so that the guests do not get turn off and this will make the entire bash etched in your mind.
