The first thing you need to do is to check the status of your item, whether for a collectible Barbie doll on the train, Disney, or other collectible item for collectors. E 'scratched, torn, clean, dirty, new, in a box without the box? You get the idea ...
Use a good light source and check the 'article very carefully, given the name, trademark and copyright notices. Also check for any imperfections, cracks, scratches, color imperfections, Mars, stains, etc.
Many dolls are collected with the box intact. A box intact to increase the value of an item a lot. Some are useless if the box is seriously damaged or missing.
NOTE: Some dolls to play with and dress out of the box taken. Examples are the Tonner Doll Company dolls: Tyler Wentworth, Sydney Chase, Gene, etc.
Remove the doll from the box for inspection. Look for forums, discussion groups or newsgroups, where collectors gather similaronline. You can also check on eBay (or other online auctions) to see what similar items for sale and what their conditions were at the time of sale. Compare prices with and without a field to see the difference.
To find your item on eBay:
1. Find the category on eBay where the article would probably be listed. (Dolls, bears, trains, Disney collectible would be likely categories.
2. If using Dolls, use the '[check only in Dolls box] in the search.
3. Use yourSearch for keywords related to as "Barbie." This opens the current auctions.
4. Now check the box to check completed auctions, prices and descriptions of items sold.
5. When you click on the individual auctions, you see the price of the product, the condition of the item is sold and if he had a box. (Never removed from box) Search for the word or NRFB MIB (Mint in Box).
Note that the price on eBay is not the best price for yourElement. Normally, the price could be more if sold locally because the online auction buyer can not really fix the place and see for yourself.
